Ithaca – day 7

Yassas!

This morning, we went to a Filiatro beach again where it was very sunny! Mum and dad had a swim and I had a snooze!

We had a yummy lunch

After a m hour and a half or so, we went in the car and drove back to our apartment. Since we were thirsty we had a couple of drinks at Penelope’s and I had a little ice cream. After we finished our drinks and I finished my ice cream we went back to the apartment and chilled for a bit.

While mum went out with Kath, me and Dad went present shopping! We got the boys presents, Caitlyn presents and G&G presents! So we were all set for presents. While Kath and mum were at Kayaks getting a drink me and Dad went to a bar near the restaurant we were going to eat at. (Mum also bought us a new hand-made picture frame for the house, to remind us of Ithaca, so I’m looking forward to seeing that when we get home – it was all bubble wrapped)

We went to the Kalkanis restaurant and I really liked the food, especially the beef stroganoff! When we finished our meal we said goodbyes and headed off back to our apartment. We have to set off early in the morning to get the ferry to Kefalonia where the airport is, and drop our car off. We didn’t think we were going to get a lot of sleep because a boat near our apartment was having a party, but we couldn’t hear them when we were inside thankfully.
