Marbella – day 4

Today I woke up and mum was still asleep! Shocker! I just had a bowl of cereal.

Afterwards, I went in the shower and then so did mum – I got ready and then did mum’s hair. We then got an uber into Malaga old town. We went into a restaurant we had to wait in a queue for!! It was called ‘Bodega Venezia’ and it’s Kath and Cliffs favourite tapas restaurant in Marbella. I found out what dry white wine is (why it’s DRY) because I thought it meant like physically dry.

We ate paella; baby beans and ham; prawns in garlic; shrimp tortilla and pork in honey. Grandma Susan ordered red pepper salad but nobody liked it.

We left and walked around the area, with the Dali statues and up to a pretty garden park. It was very beautiful!

Soon grandma was tired so got an uber back to the apartment and me and mum walked around orange square, bought a new jacket in the sake (10 euro!) and got some drinks.

After, we bought ice cream (my payment for hairdressing!) and then did the long, pained walk back (over 2 hours!)

We met a toad along the way!

Back at the apartment, I called some friends and chilled out for a bit before going to bed.

Stay tuned!!

I’m Alice. I started writing about my holidays when I was 6. I’m 11 now. I love art, photography and travelling. So far, I have been to many parts of Italy (by plane and car) many Greek Islands, Morocco and Thailand. Last summer, we drove to Slovenia and Croatia and camped. Next year I hope to visit Japan and go skiing.

And I’m very glad to see all the walking you’re doing in the sunshine.

You’ll be getting a lovely tan.
