Today we went to the police station in Rethymno Town because dad had to sign some papers and apparently the man who hit me had been caught but the papers said it didn’t even hit me!!!
The police said they weren’t taking it any further but my parents could get a lawyer and press charges if they wanted. But mummy feels sorry for the motorbike man’s daddy. The motorbike man drove away but his dad stayed praying over me and even travelled to the hospital, offered us money and gave us his cross from around his neck.
We went to visit an art gallery of contemporary art, which was ‘interesting’ but most of them were untitled.

Then we went to this very nice tiny little restaurant, called ‘to parastratima’ where we had fresh squid and grandma potatoes.

After that, we went to get a magnet, as it’s our tradition to buy a magnet from everywhere we go. We also found a Christmas shop and bought a bauble! Mummy and daddy also got one when they went to Barcelona so maybe this can be our new tradition!

I also got some bracelets! When we were walking back to the car it was so so hot. The hottest day! We drove back to the pool and had a nice dinner at the captains house. Then went to bed 💤

I’ll just join day 8 on, Wake up, drive to airport, get through security, have hotdogs, go to our gate, get on the plane, ✈️, in Newcastle airport , bye bye Crete!

PS. Sorry for posting 7 days all at once. The WiFi in Crete was not the best, so had to wait until we got home
