Day 25-It’s All Greek To Me

Friday day 25 Milos

Boat trip day!

We got on the boat with 17 other people. The sailor was called Big Mike. I liked going upstairs on the boat the best because I could see everything and there was a nice breeze. But I got very hot and had to go inside the boat.

We visited 4 different beaches. We swam at every beach and saw lots of different fish in the water. Most of the beaches were only accessible by boat, apart from one where people climbed down from the cliff tops by using ropes and a ladder! I hated my arm bands and the nice man gave me a life jacket which was much more comfy.

The crack in the Cliff are where the ropes and ladders are for people to get on the beach!

My favourite beach was called Kleftiko, which means cliffs in Greek. We swam there for over an hour and went through 3 cave tunnels! There was one that looked like a H for Harry!

We found an engraving of Katerina inside this tunnel!
All the swimming was quite tiring!

I’m Alice. I started writing about my holidays when I was 6. I’m 11 now. I love art, photography and travelling. So far, I have been to many parts of Italy (by plane and car) many Greek Islands, Morocco and Thailand. Last summer, we drove to Slovenia and Croatia and camped. Next year I hope to visit Japan and go skiing.

  1. Hello Alice
And still your adventures continue! Another lovely and informative blog!
It’s almost like being there, what with us having been to Greece with you in 2018, but without grandma having to put up with the overpowering heat!
    Lots of love
