Day 8-9-It’s All Greek To Me

Sorry that I missed a day, it’s been quite busy busy.

Day 8. Today we drove all the way down a bay called Palermos. We had to pull over to a beach as we ran out of road, the sea was very clear and dad skimmed some stones on a tree I found a swing!

Mum said on the explore she saw a restaurant. So we had lunch at Ostria inn and we could overlook the sea. I had a burger and mum and Dad ordered Horta so I had to taste courgette and boiled greens with lemon, I didn’t like it.

On the drive back we went to Bazeos tower, which was hundreds of years old and used to be a monastery. We walked around a tapestry art exhibition!

After we went to our fave cocktail bar, where I got a chocolate and banana mix milkshake! It was yummy. And when mum and Dads came there was fire things!

Wednesday day 9. First thing we visited Filoti village it was very very pretty we found a restaurant that served breakfast under another tree! I had a waffle with yogurt and fruit!

But again we were invaded by wasps..

Then we visited a marble village called Apeiranthos. (Dad had to look up how to spell this)

Church at the top of huge mountain!

We went to a very good shop and bought some souvenirs to remember Naxos, mum bought a butterfly for at the top of the stairs or my room.

After we had drink in the main square. All of our drinks were only 6 euro so mum and Dad were very happy, for some reason.

Then we had a look around the beaches in the car, it was nice.

Somehow we ended up at Aggia Anna, where we had a little lunch overlooking the sea and played eye spy.

When we got back I was dying to get this beautiful dress, so dad took me to get it. And we spotted one of Kath’s clues at the cheese shop! 5 clues to go!!

I’m Alice. I started writing about my holidays when I was 6. I’m 11 now. I love art, photography and travelling. So far, I have been to many parts of Italy (by plane and car) many Greek Islands, Morocco and Thailand. Last summer, we drove to Slovenia and Croatia and camped. Next year I hope to visit Japan and go skiing.
