Day 7-It’s All Greek To me

Right after we woke up we collected our new hired car and drove to Chalti. We had lunch under a tree! 🌳

But mum was frightened away by the wasps. 🐝

We drove through a pretty village of Filoti but there were too many cars and people to stop, then we stopped at a bar on the road called Rotonda in Apirathos. We took a picture of the amazing views and the crickets were very very loud. I had a cookies and cream ice cream, mum said we might come back for a better look around. The next place we visited was a whole village made of marble, but was too hot today to go. We bought a marble fridge magnet of a turtle and saw the marble mountain it was cool. While driving there was a traffic jam of goats!

Finally, we went to Aria Spring where we had a little water fight with the spring water which was filtered by the rocks and clean so you could drink it! 🤩

After we had dinner at Yialos again! And when I was feeding a cat, since I love cats and they do not deserve to be treated so cruelly. He hopped up on my chair! 😂

Before I went to sleep, mum downloaded the audiobook, Harry Potter and the Philosophers stone to listen to in bed. I’m trying to get used to it, so dad doesn’t have to read to me all the time. 😴 💤

I’m Alice. I started writing about my holidays when I was 6. I’m 11 now. I love art, photography and travelling. So far, I have been to many parts of Italy (by plane and car) many Greek Islands, Morocco and Thailand. Last summer, we drove to Slovenia and Croatia and camped. Next year I hope to visit Japan and go skiing.
